SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

This week we are celebrating Amadou Idrissa, for his accomplishments here at Speedway High School! Amadou started playing Football this year. “In just his first year of football, Amadou impressed us all with his commitment and growth,” said varsity football coach Shane Clampitt. “I couldn’t be more proud of him for sticking with the program and steadily developing into a solid player.” Football has also helped Amadou stay locked in during class and keeping him on the right track. Amadou plans to attend a 2 year or 4 year college and hasn’t made his final decision yet. We’re super excited to see his future unfold. But some at Speedway just want him to stay. “I only wish we had more years with him,” said Clampitt.
