Speedway Boys tennis competed again in the heat against local opponent Covenant Christian. Speedway 1 Singles player Hunter Woodlock lost in a tough 3rd set tie breaker to Covenant Christian's 1 Singles Roma Durell. The score for that match was 7-5,1-6, 9-11. The Sparkplugs continue to battle it out at each court despite the increase in temperatures. Ryan Hutchek at 2 singles lost a tough match 4-6, 5-7 while 1 Doubles of Camden Outlaw and Corbin Woodlock battled it out to a 3-6, 3-6 end. Speedway prepares for their home invite this weekend and hopes to bring home the trophy.
