SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

This week we are celebrating seniorJessica Mota for her amazing achievements at Speedway! Jessica is a member of the girls tennis team and she is a super hard worker inside the classroom and in cocurriculars at Speedway. “Jessica is a great leader in the program who can be trusted to do her best and care for others doing their best as well," said varsity girls tennis coach Karly Smith. "We are excited to see how she grows this year!” Jessica loves creating good relationships with her teammates and working together. Jessica plans on attending Ball State and to study architecture. During her high school years, Jessica has earned Student of the Quarter honors for all the hard work she’s shown. She couldn’t have done it herself, with her mom, Janet, being her biggest role model. Jessica pushes herself to be just like her mom, “the strongest woman I know," said Jessica. The Speedway community is excited to see how much more Jessica grows and how her senior tennis season goes.
