SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

This year's IHSAA boys basketball tournament will be the 116th. Speedway's boys will host Sectional 27 In Class 3A which includes teams from Cascade, Edgewood, Indianapolis Washington, Northview and Owen Valley. The team will learn tonight who they will play and when. The pairings show will take place on ihsaatv.org beginning at 6 p.m. Media personality Greg Rakestraw will host tonight's show and will be joined by IndyStar's Kyle Nieddenriep. As of last weekend, four teams (including the Sparkplugs) have earned ten wins during regular season play.
