SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

This week we are celebrating senior Fadel Idrissa! Fadel is a very hard worker and competitor for the track and field team. Fadel runs hurdles and high jumps for the Plugs. He has been a member of the team four years, and has already earned three varsity letters with the team. He is a crucial piece of the boys team during competitions. During the summer offseason, he competes with the ATA Summer Track program. Fadel plans to join the military after high school. After his service to the military, he wants to return to Indiana and attend Indiana State University. He plans to join their track team and study aviation. Fadel lives with siblings Amadou, Malik, and Mohamed. He also lives with his parents Kevin (father) and Amina (mother). Fadel says that his dad is the most influential adult in his life, “My dad, he has a "get to it" mentality,” said Fadel. Congratulations Fadel!
