This week we are celebrating Ethan Sanchez for his time spent as an excellent manager for Speedway basketball! Ethan also loves playing volleyball. He has been a manager for one year for basketball and has been a major help to the boys basketball team. “Ethan is one of the best managers that I have ever had,” said varsity boys basketball coach Bob Wonnell. “Without him, we would never leave on time for games and he has helped us out tremendously.” Ethan also participates in the ESports program and has won the most improved player. Ethan believes there are many positive reasons for playing volleyball. “I love to play and love to gain”, he says. Ethan is the son of Esther Sanchez and Hernan Sanchez and is the brother to Alexa Sanchez (9th grade) and Ezeckel Sanchez(1st grade). Ethan plans to attend Ball State Univeristy to study exercise science and play volleyball. Congratulations Ethan and we look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the future! Senior student-athlete profiles are created by the Speedway Student Media Team of Morgan Smith, Jonathan Berry, Hayli Clampiit, and Colten Thompson.
