SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

Today, we are celebrating Devary Sedoit for her hard work and dedication here at Speedway High School! Devary has participated in track during her time here at Speedway. She has many positive reasons why she chose to run. . “I find that track is a good sport and I like it,” said Devary. “I like going 100% and I like the activity.” Devary's best friend is Milamin, because “she is a great person,” and Devary plans on attending Ivy Tech in the fall. Eventually she wants to be a consul officer. “They work at the embassies,” noted Devary. “They are helping people and giving them access to resources. I want to work somewhere in the world doing this.” One adult that has served as a major influence on Devery would be Mindy Lewis. “She has helped me a lot through the school years,” said Devary. “She's the one who also told me to do track and that it would be a good sport for me.” We are all so proud of Devary and excited to see what the future brings to her!
