SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

Cross country competed Saturday at Taylor University in the Delta Eagle Invitational. The boys team finished 8th overall with Luke Chastain once again leading the charge. Six of the ten boys competing ran a new personal record on what was a nearly perfect XC morning. Morgan Smith led our trio of female runners finishing 8th individually in another PR performance. Kayla Reeves ran a season best and Avery Allison also ran a new PR. Next up: IHSAA Sectionals at Ben Davis on 10/14
