Today we celebrate Braden Martin, a multi-year member of the boys tennis team. Braden played both singles and doubles for the Sparkplugs. “Braden was a fun and competitive addition to our tennis team,” said coach Whitney Baker. “You could see him on the court with a smile on his face genuinely enjoying the sport. When put into a competitive setting, he would take his play and his role very seriously.” Braden often held himself to a high standard and tried to push himself to improve,” noted Baker. “It has been incredibly fun to watch Braden improve and continue to grow in the sport of tennis! Braden is the son of Star and Brady Martin. His younger sister Brooklynn is a freshman at SHS.
