The boys basketball program will be celebrating Senior Night tonight when they host the Bethesda Christian Patriots (13-7, 4-0 Pioneer South). Manager Camden Outlaw and team members, Toby Cork, Cam Reich, Devin Robinson, and Landon Short will be honored between the JV and Varsity games on Friday. The varsity Sparkplugs (8-10, 3-2 ICC) will not only try to snap a two game losing streak, they will try to keep alive their hopes of ending the regular season with a winning record. Speedway will host Scecina (7-13, 2-4 ICC) on Saturday as the second part of the Friday/Saturday doubleheader. That contest will also be Speedway's final home game of the season. Next Friday, the boys will travel to Triton Central (14-5, 3-1 ICC) to close out both regular season and ICC play when they take on the Tigers. With a pair of ICC wins, the Sparkplugs will assure themselves of no worse than a second place finish in Indiana Crossroads Conference play.
