Sparkplugs pulled out a 3-2 victory over Lawrence Central in Round 1 of the County Tournament. Sparkplug 1 Singles player Olivia Johnson defeated Claire Rigsby from LC 6-3, 6-3. The other two winning positions were Antonella La Rosa at 2 Singles and Diane Moreno/Angie Jauregi-Mendez at 2 Doubles.
