SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

Lincoln has been a long time member of the Speedway community and in recent years, he has filled his time participating in band and being a member of the track and field team. He has participated in the band, the jazz band, and the marching band over the summer. For the jazz band specifically, he has even received the Golden Award. He has also participated in track the last two seasons and plans on running this spring. Currently, Lincoln hopes Coach Clampitt and the football program capturing video. Lincoln has had a lot of inspirational people in his life and he admires his dad Dwayne a lot. He describes his father “... as a creative individual who draws and creates, he [dad] inspired me to create and made me who I am.” He credits him with a lot of his inspiration in his everyday life. Lincoln is the son of Dwayne (father) and Erica (mother). Lincoln plans to pursue either a four or two year degree at a college once he finishes high school. He doesn’t know where he will study or what exactly but he is interested in architecture, engineering, planning, and technology to name a few subjects. Lincoln is a great person and member of this community and we celebrate him today as a Speedway super student-athlete.
