Abigail Fritz is a great scholar and student-athlete . She has participated in cross country at the varsity level for four years and plans on making it a fourth varsity season in track and field. Abi has earned many accolades during her career. She holds the school record for the 400m dash and advanced to the Regional last year in the 400. Her sophomore year, Abi advanced to the Regionals in the high jump. Abi’s exploits earned her the field events MVP the last two years in Track. “She is one of the most diverse athletes I have ever coached,” said head coach Brian Hunteman who praised Abi’s ability to dominate in both sprinting and field events. It’s a bonus for Abi who enjoys participating in these sports “... to spend time with and run with her friends.” Abi is the youngest daughter of Aura Fritz and Kenneth Fritz. Two older siblings (Andrew and Angela) are SHS grads. Abi credits her mom with being a huge influence in her life. “My mom created her own business and is very strong and independent,” said Abi. Although she doesn’t plan on playing any sports in college, she has a desire to stay active playing either pickleball or tennis recreationally. Congratulations Abi!
