This week, we are proudly celebrating Nai Ma Har! He is a senior on the varsity football team that just completed its regular season, and Nai Ma shows his dedication in the classroom as well where he earns As and high Bs consistently. Nai Ma's best friend is classmate and football teammate Mamadou Diallo, "I've known him since 6th grade, and he's funny,” said Nai Ma in an interview earlier this year. His favorite subject is Student Media because he finds joy in taking pictures. On the field Nemo is a player, that brings energy and shows his leadership skills on and off the field. “Nemo is a truly special player," said varsity football coach Shane Clampitt. "He brings energy, positivity, and charisma to everything he does. His teammates are naturally drawn to him, and he always leads with a smile." While Nemo is a role model for many at Speedway, Nemo's role model is his uncle, “I would recognize my Uncle because if it wasn't for him to get my family to live in Speedway, I wouldn't have this life I have in Speedway,” he said. Nemo plans on going to a two or four year school to study marketing and the Speedway community is so proud of Nemo and excited to see what he accomplishes in the future! The senior profiles for the athletics department are prepared by SHS Student Media team members Morgan Smith, Hayli Clampitt, Colten Thompson, and Jonathan Berry.
