Varsity vs Scecina Varsity vs Scecina (3 - 2) Win The Sparkplugs took down conference foes, the Scecina Crusaders on Thursday night in a 5 set match (24-26, 25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 15-9). The Plugs celebrated with a block party! Alex DeLisle (4 blocks), Hayli Clampitt (3 blocks), Laney Jarrett (2 blocks), Daniella Galvez and Mallory Short (1 block each) all defended the front line at the net. The back court was held down by libero, Peyton Ridge, with a stand out performance of 34 digs. Offensively, all Sparkplugs contributed but senior, Alex DeLisle caught fire in set 5 to put an exclamation point on the win. She tallied a total of 8 kills on the night. Kyla Booker also had a strong offensive contribution with 8 kills. Setter, Laney Jarrett tallied 28 assists.
