SPEEDWAY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

This week, we are excited to celebrate senior Raelee Melvin! She has participated in softball and is also part of the school’s band. “The team is really fun to be around," said Raelee when asked what is her favorite reason for playing. Raelee plans to attend either Franklin or Ball State. She wants to pursue a career in Radiology. “It's used for medical care like x rays and I would like to work with it,” said Raelee. Raelee lives with her parents Brandon and Maria and she also lives with her brothers Brandon Jr. and Solomon, who both are eighth graders at Speedway Junior High. When asked about her most influential adult, she couldn’t pick just one, she wanted to dedicate it to all of the teachers she has had. Good luck Raelee!
