“Isabel is the heart of the team. She is the kid you want in your program! She comes everyday, works hard, asks questions, wants to get better, and is always positive. ” These words from varsity volleyball coach Sadie Pflum describe Isabel Gonzalez Leon, today’s senior profile athlete. Isabel is a prime example of a great person, dedicated athlete and hardworking student. Isabel participates in tennis and volleyball, while also being the girls basketball manager! Isabel’s favorite subject is Government because of her teacher. “Mr. Todd is a great teacher and a great person that really cares about his students and does everything so they can learn and engage with the subject,” said Isabel. Isabel is the daughter of Maria Leon Quintero and Wilfredo Gonzalez Osorio. She enjoys going to after school games and supporting our school! “Being at the football games with my friends and having a good time, it's one of the memories where we all are together,” said Isabel. Isablel plans on going to college to study a subject related to the medical field, She wants to continue her tennis career also! “Isabel is a great addition to our team,” said varsity tennis coach Karly Smith. “Isabel is a doubles player and continues to show up for her team. Her attitude, effort, and the way she challenges her teammates will go a long way this upcoming season”! Congratulations Isabel.
